Our Story

Our Story

Trinitas Community Organization was birthed out of a deep conviction that every person, no matter their background, deserves the opportunity to live a life of dignity, purpose, and hope in Jesus. In the remote villages of Bugesera District, we saw families caught in generational poverty, children lacking education, mothers without access to healthcare, and young people with broken dreams. We couldn’t walk away.

We chose to stay, to serve, to rebuild.

Trinitas exists to rebuild broken lives, restore hope, and equip local leaders to transform their own communities from the inside out for the glory of God. We believe that lasting change must be holistic, addressing spiritual, emotional, physical, and economic needs. We are a movement of restoration rooted in God’s love.

THE TRINITAS VISION

Our Dream

At the heart of our future is the Trinitas Village Vision through our Village Model Holistic approach. We envision a place of healing, growth, and leadership development.

We are building a Trinitas Hope Centre that will serve as a community hub.

Trinitas Hope Centre will be a safe haven and a launchpad raising up a generation of skilled, healthy, and God fearing men and women to lead change in their homes and across Rwanda.

A vocational training school with dormitories for students and staff, A Community Health Clinic offering quality, accessible and preventive care, A church as the spiritual anchor of the village vision, A Leadership Centre to disciple and equip emerging Christian leaders, Recreational facilities and playgrounds for youth and children, Safe spaces that foster growth in the love of God, healing, creativity, and community bonding.

Why Bugesera now?

Bugesera is not just where we work, it is our God’s given calling since 2009. It is where poverty still speaks loudly but where potential whispers even louder. We believe God is writing a new story in this region and through Trinitas, He is turning brokenness into beauty and despair into destiny.
